Authorities say a 42-year-old Gwinnett County resident died when he turned in front of a Ford pickup truck on Buford Highway at Ronald Reagan Blvd. just after 6 p.m. yesterday. They say the victim, identified as Eric Scott Wolff, of Lawrenceville, was riding a Shanghai Shenke scooter when he tried to turn left from Buford Highway westbound on to Ronald Reagan going south when he was hit broadside by an eastbound 1984 Ford F-150 pickup being driven by 29-year-old Abraham Garnica-Pintado, 29, of Cumming. Wolff was taken to Northside Hospital-Forsyth where he was pronounced dead.
