The loss put Central (11-10, 8-4) in a three-way tie for second place in the sub-region with Kell and the Lady Yellow Jackets. Sprayberry broke the game open with a 10-run second inning, while the Lady Bulldogs didn’t help themselves committing four errors. Lambert 15, Centennial 0 Audrey Merrill was perfect on the mound as the Lady Longhorns cruised to a Region 6-AAAAAA win Thursday at home. Merrill allowed no runs, no walks, not hits, and Lambert (16-2, 13-1) committed no errors, as the senior pitcher struck out five in three innings. Shelby Dean had two hits and three RBI, Marisa Guimbarda had two hits and two RBI, Savannah Huffstetler had two hits and Zoe Miller had two RBI. Johns Creek 5, South Forsyth 4 JOHNS CREEK – The Lady War Eagles blew a three-run lead in the bottom of the seventh inning and went on to drop a Region 6-AAAAAA game Thursday on the road. South (16-3-1, 12-2) led 4-1 going into the bottom of the seventh inning when things started to go wrong. The Lady War Eagles made two errors that led to all three runs scoring and tie the game. Johns Creek went on to win the game in the bottom of the eighth. Emily Harris took the loss for South allowing five runs but only one earned. Maddie Clawson went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
