Jeremiah Walker has been named the head wrestling coach at Forsyth Central High School, Bulldogs athletic director Mike Woodard said in a press release on Friday. Walker has served as the Bulldogs’ varsity wrestling assistant, assistant track coach and girls head cross country coach for the past two years. Walker is a graduate of North Forsyth High School, where he was a captain for the wrestling team. "Coach Walker brings a great deal of enthusiasm, organization, and passion to our entire athletic program," Woodard said. "He has been and will continue to be a huge asset to our Bulldog Family." Walker takes over the program from longtime coach Marlo Miranda, who recently announced his retirement.
