Riverwood at Forsyth Central When, where: Friday, 7:30 p.m., at Bulldog Stadium in Cumming. Records, rankings: Riverwood is 4-0 overall, 1-0 in Region 7-AAAAA, Div. B and unranked; Central is 2-2, 0-1 and unranked. Series history: Central leads 3-1. Last meeting: Central won 23-6 in 2003. What to know: So how is Riverwood 4-0 for the second time in three seasons but just the third time since 1986? Well, on offense, it’s been because of the Raiders’ balance. Riverwood has five players who have rushed for at least 120 yards, but none have rushed for more than 200 – Reginald Prince (20 car., 200 yards, 2 TDs), Khai Anderson (24 car., 167 yards, TD), Marcus Rosser (20 car., 165 yards, 4 TDs), Brennan Suttle (24 car., 157 yards, 3 TDs) and Marvin Kinsey (14 car., 121 yards, 2 TDs). On defense, the Raiders cause turnovers and make the most of them. They’ve forced seven fumbles and recovered six. They have six interceptions and have returned four for a touchdown. Central meanwhile eschews balance in favor of the running back duo of Shaun Diebel (97 car., 596 yards, 6 TDs) and Sabrian Howard (63 car., 377 yards, 3 TDs). They combined for 252 yards last week in the Bulldogs’ 28-14 loss to No. 3-ranked Kell. Count it as something of a moral victory for Central. The Bulldogs trailed just 21-14 with a few minutes left before the Longhorns scored again to put the game out of reach. "I can’t say enough about Forsyth Central," Kell head coach Derek Cook told the Marietta Daily Journal. "…They’ve earned our respect."
